The cycle module

Periods, phases, predictions, and when they pause.

Updated October 2026

Optional, always

Onboarding asks whether you have a cycle you would like to track. "No" removes the module everywhere: no ring on Home, no phase copy, nothing. Turn it on or off any time in Settings → Cycle.

Logging a period

Tap "Period started" on Home or in Cycle. When your usual length is reached Today asks "Still on your period?" instead of closing it for you. The app only closes a period on its own after 10 days.

Phases and predictions

With a regular cycle, Skinory shows your current phase (menstrual, follicular, ovulatory, luteal), days to the next period, and a phase tip. Predictions pause while you are on hormonal birth control or pregnant, and are off entirely in irregular mode, which still logs periods and spots.

The breakout window

After two complete cycles, the app can show which days of your cycle your spots cluster on and warn you before that window opens. It is your data, not a textbook average.

Fixing a date

Cycle → Calendar. Tap any period to move its start or end.
