The skin map

Adding spots, updating them daily, and clearing them.

Updated October 2026

One face, your spots on it

The map is one continuous face. Pinch to zoom up to 3x, drag to move while zoomed, double tap to jump in on the point you touched. There is no separate "add mode": touching the face is adding.

Adding a spot

Press where the spot is. The zone under your finger tints and its name floats above it (Forehead, Left cheek, Jawline, Lips, and so on). Slide to adjust, release to place the dot exactly there. You can mark a whole zone instead of a point when you have many spots in one area.

Updating

A spot is not an event logged once: it lives from the day it appeared until you clear it. Each day Today asks for one update per spot: same, healing, worse, cleared. Tap a dot to update it, add a close-up photo, or note that you picked it.

Why picking matters

Skinory tracks picking because it changes healing time, and the difference shows up on your report. It is a number, not a judgement.

Lips

The map tracks Lips separately from Around mouth. Bumps on the lip itself are often not acne. Nory may mention this once; she will never name a condition. A pharmacist or doctor is the right person to look.

Fixing a mistake

Tap the dot, then "Remove". A removed spot leaves no trace; a cleared one stays in your history and counts toward healing times.
